Preliminary Investigation for Patti Weismer's Guest Appearance
Here are the resources needed for the projects in class on Saturday March 29
1. Read Integrating Technology Into Instruction: What’s Working in Inclusive Classrooms., Chapter 2, Making Literacy Meaningful for Everyone in Inclusive Elementary Classrooms.
2. Watch the videos about Making Literacy Accessible. Sorry, recording myself was very challenging!
3. Watch the Introduction to Clicker 6 webinar to get the basics of using Clicker 6. Clicker 6 can be a very flexible tool if you know all the different types of activities that can be created. This gives a good overview of all the features of the software.
4. Use these videos to learn some quick editing tips. This page has various 90 second videos to help begin getting started with Clicker6. It is nice to use alongside the 4 page getting started document above.
5. Register as a user on LearningGrids: http://www.learninggrids.com/us- Be sure that you remember the login that you created! Start looking for grids that you can use with students and bookmark them. It is suggested that you download and use a couple of activities if possible prior to class. I am attaching a few Clicker grids that were downloaded from LearningGrids that will be helpful to demonstrate some of the different types of activities that you can create with Clicker. Please download these and begin thinking about the type of activity you will create.
5. Here are some Clicker 6 manuals for some additional support. Download these and use them when you are working on your project. These are great if you need some extra help or you want to work you your own pace.
